This print is of the Isokon Flats (a.k.a. Lawn Road Flats) in Hampstead, London. Early famous residents included: Bauhaus émigrés Walter Gropius, Marcel Breuer, and László Moholy-Nagy; architects Egon Riss and Arthur Korn; Agatha Christie (1941–47) and Adrian Stokes. It is architecturally significant and was built as an experiment in minimalist urban living (most flats had very small kitchens because there was a large communal kitchen to prepare meals).
